Winter Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy Opens January 5 and 13

(Posted December 19, 2025) The Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy helps University of Oregon students with the cost of textbooks and other academic materials that are required for the current academic term. This funding is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time (six credits for undergraduates; five credits for graduate and law students) and demonstrate financial need. The maximum subsidy amount is $150 per academic quarter.

There will be two opportunities to apply for the Winter 2026 Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy.

First Opportunity: Beginning 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026 (week 1)

Second Opportunity: Beginning 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 (week 2)

Each opportunity will close when funds are exhausted or Friday of each of these weeks at 4:30 p.m., whichever comes first.

Students may receive only one Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy per academic quarter.
