Campus Textbook and Supplies Resources

Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy Resources available specifically for UO students

This subsidy supports students at the University of Oregon with the purchase of textbooks and other academic materials that are required for the current academic term. This funding is offered on a first-come, first-served basis starting on the first day of each academic term. The application remains open until funds are exhausted or for the first three weeks of each academic term, whichever comes first. Applications will be reviewed by the Basic Needs Program and updates will be communicated via email.

The Winter 2025 Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy application will be activated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025. It will close when funds are exhausted or on Friday, January 24, at 4:30 p.m., whichever comes first.

Sell Your Books Through the Duck Store Resources available specifically for UO students

The Duck Store has partnered with MBS Textbook Exchange, the nation’s largest textbook wholesaler, to offer you the best prices for your used books. Shipping is free, and a shipping label will be sent to your email once your quote is finalized. This program offers in-person buyback two or three times per year.

Women’s Center Book Aid Resources available specifically for UO students

The Women’s Center offers a book aid program in which they purchase books for students to use for their courses during the current term, which are then returned and placed into their Resource Library for other students to check out in the future.

Library cards are free to all City of Eugene residents or property owners. The Eugene Public Library has free Wi-Fi and allows you to print for 10 cents per side for black and white; 50 cents per side for color.
