(Posted September 25, 2026) The Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy will be paused and not be available during fall term 2026. The Basic Needs Program is restructuring the subsidy to ensure that it is equitable and that funds are sent to selected students in a timely manner.

Additionally, the Basic Needs team is available to support students with food security, the UO Housing Subsidy, the Students in Crisis Fund, resource navigation, and more.
