Summer Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy Opens June 22 and July 27

(Posted June 22, 2026) The Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy helps University of Oregon students with the cost of textbooks and other academic materials that are required for the current academic term. This funding is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must be enrolled at least half-time (six credits for undergraduates; five credits for graduate and law students) and demonstrate financial need. The maximum subsidy amount is $150 per academic quarter.

  • There will be two opportunities to apply for the Summer 2026 Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy:
    • First Opportunity: Beginning 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026 (week 1)
    • Second Opportunity: Beginning 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026 (week 6)
  • Each opportunity will close when funds are exhausted or Friday of each of these weeks at 4:30 p.m., whichever comes first.
  • Students may receive only one Textbook and Course Materials Subsidy per academic quarter.
  • Before the form opens and after it closes, it displays the message "The form you are attempting to access is no longer active."
  • Due to processing time, this subsidy should be utilized as a reimbursement. In Summer 2026, funds will start reaching awardees' bank accounts around Wednesday, July 8.
