If you are experiencing a financial crisis that negatively impacts your academics, you may be eligible to receive one-time financial support from the Students in Crisis Fund.

UO Emergency Loan (all students)
Under the emergency loan program, students may borrow a maximum of $300 for up to 90 days interest-free with a service charge of $8 per loan. One Emergency Student Loan may be borrowed per term/semester.

Graduate Student Assistance Fund
The Graduate Student Assistance Fund program is designed to assist UO graduate students facing financial hardship relating to a “qualifying event,” such as the care of a new child, childcare expenses, or a medical issue.

Jesse M. Bell Loan and Fund (graduate students)
There are two Jesse M. Bell Graduate Loan programs. One is a short-term loan available to all graduate students of high academic standing and can be issued up to a maximum of $500. The second is a loan for graduate employees (GEs) who anticipate being paid late, which can be issued for up to the estimated value of the GE’s gross pay for that first month, not to exceed $1,000.
